We answer your questions

Do you have a degree to teach french ?

Of course! Each of us holds a Master’s degree specializing in FLE (French as a Foreign Language) and its teaching. We are also certified DELF-DALF examiners and assessors. These qualifications allow us to stand out and make a real difference compared to native-speaking teachers who do not hold such degrees. We also have 8 years of experience in teaching and pedagogical training, both in France and abroad.

What do I need for the classes ?

Nothing could be easier! Since the classes take place online via the ZOOM platform, you’ll need a computer with a good internet connection and, ideally, a headset or earphones for your comfort. We don’t recommend taking classes on a tablet or smartphone, as you’ll be limited in the interactive activities we can offer. In addition, depending on the course you’re enrolled in, your teacher may ask you to purchase a French textbook or not.

What language do the teacher speak during class ?

We speak 100% in French! It’s a very effective method to help you progress faster and make learning easier. But don’t worry — we have plenty of tools to help you study in a comfortable environment, even if you’re a beginner! Plus, we can help you make connections with your native language since we speak several languages ourselves!

Is the schedule flexible ?

It all depends on the plan you’ve chosen. If you’re enrolled in group classes, the schedule is set at the time of registration and cannot be changed. However, if you’re absent, we can send you a recording of the lesson (with the consent of the other participants). Please note that monthly payments are non-refundable. If you’ve chosen private lessons, things are more flexible! You can share your availability and arrange a schedule with your teacher. However, please note that you must cancel at least 24 hours in advance — otherwise, the class will be lost.

Do french certifications exist ?

Yes, we also prepare you to take these official exams. The most common certifications are the DELF (for levels A1, A2, B1, B2) and the DALF (for levels C1, C2). These diplomas assess your oral and written skills through both group and individual exams, conducted before an authorized jury. We are not an official examination center, but as certified DELF/DALF examiners, we can offer you tailor-made courses to help you prepare effectively for your exam.

How do I pay ?

It’s very simple. In your registration confirmation email, you’ll receive the total amount due as well as the IBAN to which you should make the transfer before your first lesson. For group classes, payment is made at the beginning of each month for the full month. For private lessons, payment must be completed before the first session of the selected package. If needed, we can also provide invoices upon request.

How can I sign-up ?

To register, simply fill out the contact form to request a free placement test. Then, we’ll schedule a meeting on ZOOM to discuss your goals and availability so we can offer a course plan that best suits your needs. During this virtual meeting, we’ll also conduct a short oral test in French to help place you in the appropriate group. If you decide to take private lessons, this level test will allow your teacher to prepare a personalized first lesson tailored to your level!
